I was a Rocket Scientist working on the launching systems for a rocket preparing for launch to outer space.  I was on the bottom floor of the launch pad, near where the explosive fire from the engines would ignite when I heard the countdown for launch begin. 10….. 10….. 9….. 9….. 8….. 8…..  It was counting down similar to how Zephyre and I count when we deal cards to each other when playing card games.  Hearing the countdown and being fully aware of what was going to happen when it reached zero, I started scrambling to find a safe place to avoid the explosions.  I found a door, with an alarm on it, that went to the outside so I went thru the door and outside looking for cover. When suddenly the countdown stopped. There is a long pause, then a loud voice on the intercom. “Launch has been delayed because a security door was breached. We are investigating the situation.”  I think to myself, “Oh, Shit. That was me.  There are hundreds of people watching and anticipating this event and these launches are uber-expensive. This delay probably cost thousands of dollars. People would be mad if they knew it was me. I better get out of here.”  Knowing that investigators were on there way to the area, I scramble looking for someplace to hide and unable to find a suitable place, I decide to stand there and look busy.  So I pull out my cellphone and pretend to be deeply engaged in official business.  An investigator arrives. A Japanese woman wearing a white lab coat.  After making sure she sees my phone conversation, I say to my phone, “I have to go, the investigators are finally here.” Then I say to her “So, this is the door that caused the security breach?”  “Yes”, she says.  Together we search the area.  In an office nearby we see a man sitting at a desk with an iPad on the desk doing an audio/video broadcast. After not finding anything, the investigator makes sure the door is shut and secure and reports back to the control room.  Then the countdown resumes.  10….. 10….. 9….. 9….. 8….. 8….. 7….. 7….. 6….. 6….. 5….. 5…..

Making Something from Nothing Sunspot Jonz grew from the East Oakland soil that kills so many of its own seeds. Resilience, intellect, and the gift of gab allowed him to overcome more challenges in his youth than most people face in a lifetime. In the environment in which he lived, and so many of the homies died, Sunspot kept the original vision of Hip Hop alive, with a four track and dream, hustling tapes on Telegraph Ave., guerilla style, a warehouse livin’, Top Ramen eatin’ savage, sending a different message than all the other MC’s in the game.
